AI

AI in my work

I use artificial intelligence as a development tool — not as a replacement for the developer.

Today AI can genuinely produce an interface, a large amount of code, images, and copy within minutes. But there's a real gap between “AI generated some code” and a working web product.

A real project isn't just code. It's architecture, UX, a visual system, responsiveness, performance, security, domains, DNS, hosting, SSL/TLS certificates, Nginx, deployment, environment configuration, testing, and many rounds of manual work.

AI helps me do that work faster. It doesn't remove the work itself.

What AI helps with

AI helps me:

  • generate and refactor code
  • prototype quickly
  • explore architecture options
  • build UI components
  • work with copy and content
  • analyze errors and debug issues
  • generate and process visual assets
  • speed up repetitive tasks
  • audit existing projects
  • support testing
  • quickly validate technical approaches

AI doesn't do all of this on its own, from start to finish — it works alongside the review and decisions I make.

The real work

It doesn't end at the prompt

Prompt
AI generates a solution
Review
Fixes
Testing
Manual tuning
Infrastructure
Deploy
Working product

Each of these steps takes real time and real decisions — the prompt is just where the chain starts.

AI doesn't replace the work of:

  • a domain
  • DNS
  • hosting
  • the server
  • Nginx
  • SSL/TLS certificates
  • environment setup
  • environment variables
  • CI/CD
  • deployment
  • logs
  • monitoring
  • backups
  • security
  • performance

Not every project needs every item on this list — but a production project usually needs far more than generated source code.

Process

Multiple iterations

  1. 01Idea
  2. 02Prototype
  3. 03AI generation
  4. 04Review
  5. 05Fixes
  6. 06Visual polish
  7. 07Responsive
  8. 08Testing
  9. 09Infrastructure
  10. 10Deploy
  11. 11More fixes
  12. 12Final check

The first result from AI is almost never the final product.

A good result comes from iteration — look, check, break it, fix it, simplify, recheck, change it again.

The balance

AI is an accelerator, not an autopilot

AI can dramatically shorten the distance between an idea and a working prototype. But the quality of the final product depends on who:

  • frames the task
  • chooses the architecture
  • reviews the result
  • makes the technical decisions
  • understands the infrastructure
  • fixes what's broken
  • tests the product
  • is responsible for the final result

AI speeds up the work. Responsibility for the result stays with the human.

Code is only one link in a much longer chain.

Not a verdict against AI

AI is one of the most powerful tools to appear in development in years. It lets one developer do far more, far faster. But a tool is not a substitute for a specialist — and that balance is the whole point of this page.
